Dear Friends..
Who all are ready for a drive to cover Fossil and Camel Rock on Friday (19June09) Evening, are welcome to join the Evening Bash. We intend to enter the desert at 4:15pm and complete the drive by 7:30pm.
Maximum No of Vehicles :10
Meeting Point : Emarat Petrol Station on Sharjah Kalba road
Meeting time:3:00 PM
Departure time: 3:20 PM (COMPULSORY, which means sharp with no delays)
Requirements: Basic Recovery Tools must be available in each vehicle, all vehicles must make sure that a recovery point will be on both, the front and the back
Participation: Confirmation prior to trip must be provided
Food: Light Refreshments to be carried along. Those who want to do BBQ towards the end of Drive, please bring your barbeque stuffs along with you & extra for one person.

trip. Hi 8 in an 8 out
All the drivers and passengers were looking forward to drive to the fossil Rock.
We all meet at Sharjah Kalba petrol pump @ 3.20 and left from there 3.30. Our journey in the desert commenced @ 4.15 towards Fossil rock. The Drive was very smooth and without any vehicle getting stuck in the heat. Well the credit goes to us, I was on Lead and Ali was on Sweep, Prevez bhai and Ajay was in middle and of course the drivers too. .It came us a surprise that everybody managed to climb Fossil rock in the first attempt itself.
But no trip is exciting without a recovery. We saw one of the Local’s car was stuck in the sand (with four passengers) and was looking for help. While recovering his car Ajay Bhai had a Tyer Popout which took more than one Hour to fit it back.
Subsequently all of us came down from Slipface (back of Fossil Rock) and headed towards Camel Rock. It was 5.30 p.m when we reached Camel rock and we took 30 minutes break to relax. Standing at the Camel Rock we all unanimously took a decision to cover the Sedal point also today itself.
I decided to approach the target from High Dunes and I would also like to discover atleast 2 slipface while reaching the spot. This part of Drive was a bit difficult track Side slope, crossover Dunes and slipface. In some parts the sand was very.very loose but everybody managed this well too . Special Thanks to Ali for Sweep.
Around 7.15p.m all of us were out of desert and everybody decided to drive back except three of us. Ajay, Prevez and I decided to go to Al Faya and have a cup of tea there. We were later joined by Naved and Mr.Bery along with his South African friend. All of us were again revitalized after light chit chat, Hot tea and soft drinks. Not only had this but we also did the planning of the future FUN DRIVE. Finally 8.30p.m was departure back home.
Overall everyone had a blast time in the evening bash. So Friend don’t miss the next evening Bash if you don’t want to avoid unlimited fun and adventure.
