    Hi guys…

Just a friendly reminder… don’t off-road alone.. if its late in the evening also don’t try it please..

Last Thursday about 10 PM I got a call from a good off roader, who has been driving with us for long.. He is a good driver no doubt.. But a small dune put him in a big mess. He was in the desert from 8PM TO 12.PM till I reach the area.. And pulled him out.. Again I also did the same mistake by going alone.. 😕

I was stopping the car and checking out each and every dune before proceeding. A different experience all alone..

Take care guys…. N please delete my mobile number 😉

    :thanks:

Yes Dont go alonee to Desert, Pleae take your car with you.

    hehehehe

On serious note, Jessil is hundred percent right, Never venture alone in the desert. It doesnt matter how expert you are. you can get stuck even on a flat surface with a slight miscaclulation in reading the sand.

However if you cannot fight with the desire to go to the desert, please stay very close to the road. in case you need any assistance, you can reach the road.

    I like this…

This is one of the basic tenet of any adventure sports be it off roading or diving or even hiking…

Please do not venture out alone AT ALL!!!

In my ten years plus of off Roading experience…
I’ve been called to rescue friends from UAQ beach to a small mound that my friend insisted on calling a dune…

Crux of the matter…going alone…NO Go!

i think let it do mandatory if any one wants to do personnal trip, should mention the details of trip and also details later to the trip. he can close the trip of course so the concern chief marshall make sure that the members going along have enough support and are safe – remember nobody can challenge nature – so no one good drivers against nature…

Man I avoid driving alone on the roads too :))

Anycase – a very good thread by Jess. Have heard a lot of horrible rescues made to people who were crazy enough to venture out alone.
