I am open to a meeting anyday after 6 pm…
Today at 8 pm at the Sheesha cafe in International city?Ali could you co-ordinate this meeting since you have called this meeting?

Hi, Ali
Having meeting is a good idea. if its 17th or 18th of march it will not be Possible for me or for the group traveling to Jabal Al Akhdar Oman. Otherwise any day is fine with me.

In addition we also decided on a few other things as well.
a. We are going to have a regular monthly meeting every 2nd Monday of the month, the time will be 8pm and the venues will be changing everytime and will be communicated about a week in advance.
b. Any sub-group activities within the Domain will be visible to all members but only the sub domain members may post on the sub-group topics.
c. Pathfinders is going to organize at least one newbie and one intermediate drive, open to all, every month.
d. We are going to start a rating system for all the members where each member will be assigned 1-4 stars depending on their driving and navigational capabilities.
The ratings for the active members will be assigned on the next meeting in consultation with the Marshals & the Committee members.
e. The drives too, will then be rated on the difficulty level by stars and only the qualified drivers holding the requisite stars will be able participate.
f. The next meeting is to be held on Monday the 14th of March 2011, venue to be communicated later.

just some doubts….
1. Wouldnt giving rating or points be like a discouragement/ hindrance for members to join for drives thereby reducing participation ?
2. the monthly meeting is for all members to attend or only committee members and marshals ?
3. also who are the committee members ?

Star rating is a classification process and allows every member to gain an independent rating from senior members.
The member would be quietly and unobtrusively evaluated on a number of points by at least 4 senior members, so that every body gets a realistic evaluation.
This will actually be an encouragement for everybody to improve their skills and thus achieve a better rating which allow them to go on advanced drives and help them go to the next level and so on.
It clearly states that the meeting is open to all active members.
There are 4 Marshals Jessil, Anil Berry, Ali Asghar & Imran and Salim and I are committee members.
