I have been searching the internet for tips and tricks on desert driving doos and donts but found little information, i think it would be really nice if we had a guide here to teach us how to drive out there.
The newbie trip was a great drive but as far as of learning , i myself gained more through my own experience. i actually looked forward on learning some stuff from someone with more experience.
i mean for example when going down a dune , do i hold the brakes or just shift into a lower gear,,, when stuck .. how to attempt self recovery… all these kinds of things.. i wish that my idea would be taken further to add to the club and the members..
Thanks again guys for everything

Practice… Practice… tis the only way…
Do not hold the brakes. Bad idea. Slow pumping or lower gear for example but then that comes with experience. And am not making any jokes there B4 anyone says a thing….
and u should not be using the Net to work out how to do a self recovery. Practice with others who are more experienced, it’s the best way.

Most of my favorite activities…Riding a bike or a horse, shooting a gun or a Rifle, driving a car….wooing a woman…these can never be taught…just learned with persistence…by making mistakes…
We, as your friends…could just try & make sure that it is done in a safe, controlled environment…Off Road driving only…mind you ๐quote Ahmed Pervez:Experience is the best teacher…
