Hello to all,
So my tyres are up for change after a few trips to the wadis…
As this will be the first time I have to buy tyres in Dubai I was hoping that some of the senior members here may be able to advice me on a good place to find a decent set and a guide in pricing so as not to get completely ripped off. I am looking for something pretty comfortable but still decent to be able to take them out offroading. I have a Pajero if that makes any difference.
thank you in advance for the help fellas!

The best tyre everywhere apparently, sand, mud, rocks.
http://www.trucktirereports.com/Cooper-Discoverer-A-T3-Review.htmlGeolander is better in sand but not as good in rocks and definitely bad in mud.
http://www.trucktirereports.com/Yokohama-Geolandar-A-T-S-Review.htmlThis has been confirmed by a local guy I stumbled across some day.
My view:
Sand, road and budget: geolander and also hankook ATM
Sand, rock, other offroad terrain but still very road based on a budget: Cooper AT3
The above but a stronger tire to inspire confidence offroad with a small sacrifice onroad, willing to pay a little more for quality: BFG KO2
Very aggressive all terrain offroad tire, very strong, most benefits of a MT, cheaper than above but a little more noisy onroad: cooper ST MaxxThen you can get into the Muds, but the ST Maxx is the most agressive you need in the UAE imo
i changed the tiers of my xterra last week, i’ve been Advised by many off roaders to go for Yokohama Geolander ATS.
i changed it in Qusais is garage called ( New Baharath), they are very professional , it cost me 1950 AED for 4 tiers,
my experience so far is so good with the new tiers,
Good luck,
YamenIs anyone tried to buy tires on the https://www.tyrestreets.com? Site looks good, but i need some recommendations. Or i should find another online shop? Thanks for attention.
