    @badboy in first part of the trip, are we going to cross any border checkpost which reqires Emirates ID/Passport? If yes then I have to join in the 2nd part as my visa renewal is under process.

    Hi Dave and welcome to DO. We are looking forward to meeting you on Friday. You just need to make sure you have the basic necessary equipment required for every drive with DO. The basic equipment you need to have would be a compatible Walkie Talkie, flag pole and flag, along with recovery kit and an air compressor. Kindly search the forum for the DO radio frequencies which we use and try to preset those on your walkie talkie, then you should be set for the drive.

    This will be a great trip and loads of fun is guaranteed.

    There is no esho as long you have child seats and fitted correctly in your car.

    Tha wadi route it’s easy and simple though.
