All level afternoon drive – Friday 31st January 2020

    Drive type: soft high dunes in RAK’s red sand.

    Meeting time: 13:00
    Convoy briefing: 13:15
    Drive start: 13:30
    Drive terrain: some nice big dunes and bowls!
    Drive will end at sundown

    MEETING POINT:

    Please be punctual so we can maximise our time on the sand!

    Checklist:
    a) Fully functional 4×4 vehicle with full tank of fuel.
    b) Air compressor in working condition.
    c) Recovery rope / strap.
    d) Compatible radio pre-programmed to DO frequencies.
    e) Refreshments for you and your passengers (if you have them).
    f) Off road flag attached to vehicle.

    Etiquette:
    1) Registering and not coming along may stop others from joining and is easily avoidable so please be courteous and withdraw if you can’t make it.
    2) Be punctual.
    3) Avoid bringing along unregistered participants without prior permission.

    Hi everyone, I wish to join but now the meeting time is very early (13.00 instead of 14.00 before) and place quite far. Would not be possible to organise drives as before around Al Faqaa for example and about 14.00. Thanks and regards to all. Pierre

    Hi Pierre,

    We are organizing drives earlier to accommodate for early sunsets. So we can get ample time in sand. During winters we will stick to 13:00 and then 14:00 back in summers.

    Hope you can still make it.
