    Drive level : All levels

    Meeting Point : AL Owide on Umm Al Quwain-Shuaib (Rd 55)

    Meeting Time : 01:30 pm
    Drive Starts: 02:00 pm
    Drive Ends: 06:00 pm
    Drive Route: Ghost Town area-Rafada-Badyer
    Ending Point: Badyer shops

    Checklist :
    1) Your emergency contact info must available at Dubai Offroaders website.
    2) Ensure your 4×4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with full fuel tank at the meeting point.
    3) Carry all necessary offroad gears/recovery equipment in good condition.
    4) Carry enough water/refreshments/re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).
    5) Make sure that your spare tyre is in workable condition.
    6) Your vehicle must have front and rear tow points.
    7) Seat belt must be on while driving including passenger(s).
    8) Read your vehicle owners manual to be acquainted with the 4WD system.

    May I know what is meant by front and rear tow points ?

    Does it mean the shackles have to be installed ?

    Long time no sand!!!
    I am trying to register for this drive however i am not able to as i am being asked to confirm my DO membership. I did this yesterday.

    Can someone who is admin help me out so i can register for this drive please??

    Hi Topgear,

    Front and rear recovery point are for attaching shackles and ropes for recovery purposes.

    I understand that u drive an FJ and by default FJ has both the tow points :drive:

    Hi @topgear, Open the posted drive and look for the green button “I’m In”. Clic on that button to register for the drive.

    Thanks to the organizer and everyone who came and supported the drive. I truly enjoyed my first experience and thanks for all the tips and knowledge shared with me. Apologize for ‘slowing down’ the group because I got stuck a few times and have to make a few attempts to clear some dunes.
