    Day and date : FRIDAY AUGUST 18, 2017
    Drive Type : All level , depending on Marshals availability .
    Meeting Point :Badayer Shops on Dubai-Hatta Highway (E44)
    24.954907, 55.714137 /degrees (DD.ddddd°) just copy and paste in Google maps
    N 24 57.294, E 55 42.848 /degrees, minutes (DD°MM.mmm’)GPS User

    Meeting Time : 15:30 pm
    Drive Start: 15:45 pm
    Drive Route: All level
    NICE & SMOOTH

    Checklist:-
    a) Keep your emergency contact info at vehicle dashboard.
    b) Carry compressor with you and ensure its in working condition.
    c) Ensure your 4 x 4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with full fuel tank.
    d) Compatible Radio is a must.
    e) Carry all necessary offroad gears / recovery equipment in good condition.
    f) Carry enough water / refreshments / re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).

    Hi DO’s,

    This is going to be my first drive as a new member.

    I don’t yet have a flag for my new car. Is this an issue? 😕

    Hi James

    Flag is important for your own safety. Try to grab one from dragon mart before the drive. They open at 1.30pm today. Also make sure you have a radio, this is most important.

    Okay thanks John, on the way to DM now. I guess I’ll have to somehow duct tape it on for now as don’t have the tools and time to hand to fit properly before the drive.

    Check for the suction cup mount while you’re at DM for the flag…. it’s a more viable option than duct tape.. See you on the trip
