    Drive Type: NEWBIE, FEWBIE, INTER DRIVE , 2/3 separate Convoys.

    Meeting Point: Badayer Shops on Dubai-Hatta Highway (E44)
    Google maps users (just copy and paste in Google maps): 24.954907, 55.714137
    GPS users: N 24 57.294, E 55 42.848

    Meeting Time: 02:30 pm
    Drive Start: 03:00 pm
    Drive End: 07:00 pm
    Duration: 4 Hours

    Drive Route: Al Badayer Area

    Checklist:
    a) Keep your emergency contact info at vehicle dashboard.
    b) Carry air compressor with you and ensure it’s in working condition.
    c) Ensure your 4×4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with enough fuel.
    d) Compatible Radio is a must.
    e) Carry all necessary off-road gear / recovery equipment in good working condition.
    f) Carry enough water / refreshments / re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).

    Great drive today, in a nice area with soft sand and beautiful landscape.

    First time leading the convoy. 😀
    It was a challenging experience and a lot of learnings. Thanks to Abdalla for giving me the opportunity and for the good advices. :thanks:

    Of course I had few (many !) hesitations when leading and I appreciate the patience of the group. Not forgetting Baher’s experience at the back to keep everybody together. Great guys !! :ymhug:

    Looking forward for the next time. 😉

    Hey folks
    I enjoyed a lot with this drive!
    Many positive moments, even though my car couldn’t conquer to some heights
    But this is experience which force y to make some upgrades!
    That area it self the best, would like to take a lead convoy, but realistically my car would not give me to play a lot with these heights
    one of the best Friday’s 13 :devil:

    our drive was going very fine :drive: :drive: :drive: ……. until my car died on me and the oil filter decided to become a fountain 8-} 8-} 8-} 8-} …. we had multiple theory too prove what went wrong 8-| 8-| 8-| 8-| …. but finally we concluded that the battery might have hit the oil filter which created a hole in the same and hence oil filter turned into a fountain :yesss: :yesss: :yesss: …… as usual our super man @joe.zeinoun :ymhug: :ymhug: 😀 😀 :ymhug: came for the rescue to fix the things up with the help of two other supermen @Avinash and @gregs167 :ymhug: :ymhug: 😀 :ymhug: who went out and got the engine oil and a filter ………. 😮 😮 😮 😮 😮 😮

    apologies to the members got stuck with me for the mess up in the second half of the drive and :thanks: :thanks: to all for the support.

    Really sorry to hear that.
    Always we have to be sure battery is fixed well. My brother pay 8000 dhs after battery hit oil pipe and lose all gearbox oil.
