    Day and date: FRIDAY 16th Oct 2015

    Drive Type: 2/3 separate Convoys, depending on the total number of registrations.

    Meeting Point: Khatam intersection on underpass 3 on the Sharjah Kalba Road.
    Lat/Lon hddd.ddddd = N25.16668 E55.82608
    Lat/Lon hddd.mm.mmm = N25 10.001 E55 49.565

    Meeting Time: 14:45Hrs.

    Drive Start: 15:00Hrs

    Drive End: – sunset

    Duration: 3 hours approximately

    Drive Route: Al Khatam to pink rock

    Drive Terrain: soft & tricky dunes

    Checklist:
    a) Keep your emergency contact info at vehicle dashboard.
    b) Carry air compressor with you and ensure it’s in working condition.
    c) Ensure your 4×4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with enough fuel.
    d) Compatible Radio is a must.
    e) Carry all necessary off-road gear / recovery equipment in good working condition.
    f) Carry enough water / refreshments / re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).

    Our plan is to exit before sunset but it’s part of the game anything can happen in offroading.

    We had a nice drive today again. The lead marshals were Abdalla and Baher and all of us drove in one convoy.
    The scenery was beautiful, and we almost had a chance to be washed by a short rain but only it’s wind caught us instead.

    At the end the brave ones tried their skills on a large slope while the rest enjoyed their rides. We drove back to the starting point just before sunset.
    Thank you for the marshals for their useful advices and to keep us rolling 🙂

    Next week I have a family affair (staycation in Ajman), so hope to see you afterwards.
