    All level Newbie/ Fewbie/ Intermediate Drive on Friday the 3rd of November ‘2017

    Day and date : Friday, the 3rd of November ‘2017
    Drive Type : All level , depending on Marshals availability .
    Meeting Point : Al Faq’aa Mosque on Dubai-Al’Ain Highway (E66)

    Meeting Time : 14:45 Hrs. (2:45pm)
    Drive Start: 15:00 Hrs. (3:00pm)
    Drive Route: All level
    NICE & SMOOTH

    Checklist:-
    a) Keep your emergency contact info at vehicle dashboard.
    b) Carry compressor with you and ensure its in working condition.
    c) Ensure your 4 x 4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with full fuel tank.
    d) Compatible Radio is a must.
    e) Carry all necessary offroad gears / recovery equipment in good condition.
    f) Carry enough water / refreshments / re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).

    Yes, i have all of them. I’ve got walkie talkie but would need someone to set the frequency.
    Just bought my flag pole from Ace.

    Dear dean boy

    Welcome to DO and to your first drive this Friday. 😀
    It is highly recommended that you setup your walkie-talkie frequencies before coming to the drive. Programming the frequencies on site might take time and would delay the drive for other members. :((
    If you do not have the user manual for your radio, you most probably can find tips on the web. There are also several posts on the forum for some specific radio models that might help you.

    You could also indicate which radio you are using and maybe someone can give you the programming procedure.

    I have a MT 777 Motorola. bought from Dragon mart. I have a pair and they work fine for each other. I will check the topics and try understand. But unless i have an alternative walkie talkie to use it with by pairing, not sure it would work.

    I’ll give it a shot !! 🙁 8-|
