June 21, 2020 at 5:43 pm #43660Dear Hashim, thanks a lot for the new event. The one last week was very fun, I’m sure it will be the next time as well.
Just as a recommendation, can we have the marshals line up side by side like convoy 1, convoy 2, in sequence..etc on time. And we can share a photo of them from whatsapp group, during the event time, so everybody can line up easily. Last time it took more than 45 minutes, everybody was asking which car is convoy 1 or 2 etc. If we do this method, we can quickly line up and start driving earlier.
Another recommendation is to share the frequencies of convoys in this group or in whatsapp in advance. The list of channels and frequencies are written in the first post, but we will still have confusion about choosing the right channel for the right convoy.

We as marshals are also learning amidst the pandemic. But I can assure you that the meeting point management will be much better this time. Marshals are coming up with new strategies to better manage the drives in the given circumstances.
I thank you for your suggestions, these will be kept in mind and implemented.

Happy to hear that. Just want to add that I’ll be happy to support you for the organisation if needed. This is a non-profit group and we benefit your efforts for free, I want to do my part if needed. Just let me know.
