Hi everyone. I’m new to the group and have just bought a Ford Ranger. Are there any other Ranger owners in the club?
There doesn’t seem to be much of an aftermarket in the UAE so I’d like to connect with other likeminded owners.
I’m also looking forward to joining some newbie events soon B-)

Hi Stu, Welcome to DO. I owned a Ford Ranger XLT extended cab with a camper shell on the back and was 6 cylinder 3.0L engine. I had it from 2002 to 2007 when I lived in San Diego, California. I drove the truck all over Southern and Northern California and all over Baja Mexico. I took it in the deserts, mountains, beaches, etc and it was a great ride and fully capable. I loved it. I am sure once you get used to it and get used to driving in the dunes you will have a blast with it. With regards to mods for it, go speak to Shibu at Best Line Garage in Gusais. He will find the right solutions for your needs.
