    Hi all.

Any hard top Jeep Wrangler 2dr owners recommend a good place to get a solid roof rack and get it fitted? I am not to be trusted with DIY.

It will need to be able to support 2x 15ft sea kayaks.

    :thanks:

    Hi,
Icon Auto had a Sherpa roof rack from Ruggedridge (just have a look on the picture below) which is good for carrying 150kg.
The bad news though is that they sold all 5 kits they received recently from US and the next order is not placed yet. :-w

Thanks, nothing really there when I looked, will try again though. And they fit them? That surprises me.

    🙁

Although they look a little restricting with respect to hard top removal, no? I will also need cross bars to attach kayaks properly.

The good thing is that you can tilt the entire roof rack back to remove the hard top. Cross bars would be needed indeed.

”The new Sherpa Roof Rack System by Rugged Ridge for the 2007-2014 Jeep Wrangler (JK) is an easy bolt-on solution for 2 or 4-door Wranglers that require no modifications to the body of your Jeep. The unique tilt feature allows you to access your soft top with ease, and the hard top or freedom panels can be removed without removing the rack system. As an added bonus, the forward mounting bar acts as an integrated light bar. The Roof Rack System accepts the Rugged Ridge drop down light bracket (PN 11232.22) to mount up to 4 lights. ”
