I dont think v’ll b back by noon on 20th so may b in the next run as there r other people who want to join but cant go this time.

And probably v’ll b camping in wadi bih as in dibba they have put restrictions for camping on the beach. It’ll b fun but one should be prepared.

Here is the final plan ….
Meeting point: Adnoc Gas Station on Sharjah – Dhaid Road after the University
Meeting Time and briefing: 6:45 am
Departure: 7:00am
Route: Sharjah – Dhaid – Masafi – Dibba (We’ll re-assemble right after the Omani check post at the gas station for refueling and will start as a convoy. A map from Dibba is posted herewith for your reference)Off road starts after Dibba and we’ll have a number of stops for sight seeing while we are on the dirt track. We plan to do some hiking / trekking and that’s the reason for leaving early. We’ll find a nice campsite while exploring the area and will try to be there by 4pm so that we could set up tents and the site before dark. Some friend has recommended the following coordinates for a nice campsite.

56°13’3.84″EThe people who are not staying over night will have enough time to drive back to the road. Next day we’ll explore the area more after wrapping up the camps and will leave the area after 2pm.
A list of equipment required has already been posted. But I would like to emphasize that one must carry sleeping mats, sleeping bags/blankets and pull-overs.
I would like to request the bachelors driving alone to carry wood in your trucks, as the family trucks would be stuffed with other things. We shall have a nice and big fire in the pit to enjoy the night.
Note:- I’ve kept the plan flexible except for the meeting point so that we could explore and enjoy at liesure
