    Day and date: Fri 27 jan
    Drive Type: NEWBIE only!!.
    Meeting Point: sent via PM

    PLS NOTE, THIS WILL BE A 12 CAR CONVOY ONLY!!
    SO FIRST COME FIRST SERVE….
    HIGHER LEVEL MEMBERS ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO JOIN FOR SUPPORT…

    Meeting Time: 1:30 pm
    Drive Start: 2:00 pm
    Drive End: sunset

    Drive Route: AL HAYER TO NAHEL
    Drive Terrain: big dunes, technical dunes and soft sands


    -DO MARSHALS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DENY PARTICIPATION OF ANY ILL-EQUIPPED OR UNSUITABLE VEHICLE!
    -PLEASE BE THERE ON TIME! WE SHALL NOT WAIT FOR LATE COMERS
    -A FULL TANK OF FUEL IS A MUST!
    -IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU CARRY A COMPATIBLE RADIO TUNED TO DO FREQUENCIES FOUND HERE (RADIO FREQUENCIES) PLEASE READ YOUR OWNERS MANUAL AND GET ACQUAINTED WITH THE VARIOUS FUNCTIONS OF THE DEVICE AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HOW TO MANUALLY INPUT A FREQUENCY!! ANYONE WITHOUT A PROPERLY CONFIGURED RADIO, WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO JOIN THE DRIVE, FOR SAFETY REASONS!

    Checklist:
    a) Keep your emergency contact info at vehicle dashboard.
    b) Carry air compressor with you and ensure it’s in working condition.
    c) Ensure your 4×4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with enough fuel.
    d) Compatible Radio is a must.
    e) Carry all necessary off-road gear / recovery equipment in good working condition.
    f) Carry enough water / refreshments / re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).

    newbie registrations for this drive are now CLOSED!!..

    ZizzleMeister will be the last newbie member to be taken on board…. from there on, this drive will be open to fewbie and above only!

    any further newbie registrations from this point onward shall not be accepted even if they show up at meeting point!

    pls excuse my bluntness, but this will be a one marshal only drive… and more cars means more time spent waiting for recoveries rather than driving.. im sure no one wishes to drive all this way, just to sit and wait for the convoy to move….

    i thank you for your understanding hoping to see u next weekend…

    Hi Everyone – Anyone here with a radio thats NOT programmed to the Clubs frequencies? Please let me know below and ill bring my laptop and the cable to do it with. Takes 2.5 seconds a radio B-)

    I’ll be joining with a 2008 Pajero 3.8l SWB (2 doors), bought Wednesday evening 🙂
    It’s been too many weeks without driving since I sold my Patrol Safari.
    I’m looking forward to it!

    I have a flag but I couldn’t find a way to attach it yet.
    If someone has a clip to attach to roof racks to lent or for sale, it would be very helpful.
