2) Ensure your 4×4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with full fuel tank at the meeting point.
3) Carry all necessary offroad gears/recovery equipment in good condition.
4) Carry enough water/refreshments/re-hydration drinks for yourself & co-passenger(s).
5) Make sure that your spare tyre is in workable condition.
6) Your vehicle must have front and rear tow points.
7) Seat belt must be on while driving including passenger(s).
8) Read your vehicle owners manual to be acquainted with the 4WD system.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HOW TO MANUALLY INPUT A FREQUENCY!!FOR SAFETY REASONS, ANYONE WITHOUT A PROPER CONFIGURED RADIO WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO JOIN THE DRIVE

I am trying to finalise my emergency equipment and still short of couple items which are meant to be delivered on Thursday.. In case if I don’t have the full list of equipment as a newly signed up member, can I still join?
Also, anyone knows where is the nearest place to ras al khaimah that sells flags poles? If not, what section in dragon mart?

Below is all equipment you need as newbie. Easy to get it all at Dragon Mart. You can ask where to get them once you get at Dragon mart.1. Be sure your car is an offroad 4X4 vehicle with snatch/recovery hooks at both front and rear.
2. Compatible Radio
3. Tyre Pressure Gauge
4. Tyre Deflator
5. Flag pole including flag

Hello everyone
I have been running around like headless chicken at dragon mart trying to find Motorola GP 338+ but apparently it is banned and most of the shops have only pre programmed walkie talkies with fixed channels and they can’t tell if it is possible to Programme it or no
Anyone has any clue if Motorola 777 Mt can be programmed? Or even better if ICOM IC V8 because I have 8 already in my office
I appreciate any quick help because I need it before Friday (Ideally today) to be ready for Friday’s ride
I have just been told by the official distributor of Motorola in uae that anything above 446 MHZ requires a license and they don’t issue that license for offroading purposes
Any suggestion?

Motorolla 777 is the one which most of us use. Ask them to programme it for you to have the regular frequencies. You will find the usual frequencies with channels on DO forum if u search for it. But the DM guys know them and will do it for u.
