Team with highly dedicated cream of off road community went to achieve the task which never happened.

We went to the spot after 2 hours off roading with an excellent lead by Shibu and sweep on me supported by Shahzad, Naeem, Shanee, Waqas, Khalil, Harish and Ridge Stuntman Yahya..

on approaching the target we start taking our gears out to tilt the car as we don’t trust jack on sand..

    Team follows my direction as:
We push the jeep to soft patch.
    We remove Left door
    we remove the battery terminal
we remove tapid cover PCV socket not to let engine oil flowed to cylinders
Winch 1 >> Pulled the jeep to left
Winch 2 >> Pullied right and support to tilt slowly and safely.
Winch 3 >> used to detach and attach gear box.

We tilt the jeep to left and start removing gear box by Naeem who was specially assigned for the task with the help of shanee..

later Naeem stated gear removing was never been so easy…

while removing the gear box we found threads of clutch fibre all over some rolled to starter bendix and no proper cranking attitude by starter…

We remove pressure and clutch plates, one side fo clutch totally burned with metal scratching on pressure plate surface….

    We found master cylinder leakage…

    Problem rectified as:

Replaced Pressure Plate, Clutch Plate, thrust bearing, Master Cylinder kit..

After fixing the parts, we made short break with yummy subway sandwiches with drinks…

We fixed the gear box remove the surrounding mess into thrash bin remove winch 1 and 3 and drop the vehicle back to right by winch 2.

Pour 1 liter of gear oil from opening of gear liver stick, fixed gear liver, fixed PCV sockets, fixed battery terminal….

Crank the jeep started well without smoke…. as usual every successful steps supported by high whistler Harish…

we fixed the left door and I drove the new clutch against slip face slope down with heavy sand…

all set and Harish back on his wheels..

On Road harish lead us to the world best Mandee/Mudbee…

we had a wonder full support as always and great enthusiasm shown by all..

    Now How this happen:

this is a lesson to all off roader weather you drive Manual or automatic transmission>> whenever you get stuck in soft patch do not try to attempt in 4H or HH shift to 4L or LL crawl slowly to come out then again back to 4H or HH if terrain permits…

    wish you all the best

    Safe Fun For Everyone

    Great Job Saad !!! Zabardast!!!
This was a major repair operation…right in the middle of Nowhere !!!
How much time did the whole operation take from the time that you arrived at the stricken Jeep to the time that you drove off from the spot?
