    Coffee with Roshan: Friday, 06Feb08

    Meeting Point 01: 0500hrs, Adnoc, King Faisal St.
    (For people driving in from Shj)

    Meeting Point 02: 0545hrs, Emirates Petrol Pump, Lahbab

    Location: Big Red
    Level: Intermediate
    Duration: 3hrs

    Trip Brief:

    TBA

    Recommended Equipment:

    Air Pressure Gauge
    Deflation Tool
    Tow Rope incl Shackles
    Jacking Board
    Shovel
    Walkie
    Spare Tyre

    General Instructions:

    Be prepared for delays. Sand driving can be unpredictable.
    Carry water 2ltr/person.

    I vote virgin dune… if not virgin, then i’ll settle for haven’t been riden on in a while…

    Wht do u guys think of the weather? There was a sand storm last night so cud lead to light rain or drizzle ? 😕
    Expecting the sand to be hard 😉

    Last time I had more fun on the dry sand later in the day… it was more challenging.

    This brings up another question – if we want to have an intermediate drive, the sand should be dry… does that mean we’ll be driving till later – maybe 10am? ‘cos earlier means harder… which is fine, but dry sand will be more fun I think.

    Its almost the weekend, so how many are in? i will be bringing 2 passengers, hopefully one can hop into a free 4×4. Is Navadv coming? Pls update the list ….
