    Coffee with Roshan: Friday, 16Jan08

    Meeting Point 01: 0500hrs, Adnoc, King Faisal St.
    (For people driving in from Shj)

    Location: Big Red
    Level: Newbie to Fewbie
    Duration: 3hrs

    Trip Brief:

    We enter near Big Red, starting from a simple track drive to allow newbies to get their bearings and build a little confidence, followed by some mini-dunes and then progress to slightly larger dunes closer to Pink Rock and then turn back via the dusty track near the Camel Pens to exit near Big Red for some ‘Coffee with Roshan’ and trip critique at Sakhi Restaurant.

    Recommended Equipment:

    Air Pressure Gauge
    Deflation Tool
    Tow Rope incl Shackles
    Jacking Board
    Shovel
    Spare Tyre

    General Instructions:

    Be prepared for delays. Sand driving can be unpredictable.
    Carry water 2ltr/person.

    For Newbies:

    Stop worrying and jump in the sandbox.
    No gear required.
