Just a clarification…….is this drive open to All…..as i first saw it was only to intermediate and the max vehicles allowed was only 5….so i had planned to accompany Ashok as a passenger….

Hamza, the drive is showing in Beginner’s as well as Intermediate…..is it fine??

Yeah man, I moved the original thread thread to beginners on Ali Adnan’s request and left the shadow topic in the intermediate as well. I was thinking Ali Adnan will change the topic and make it beginner’s drive. Yes, the drive is now open to all the members. Just confirm with Ali Adnan how many cars he wants to take though.

Ali Adnan….thanks a ton for the wonderful “silk route” drive …..The drive was restricted to six cars only….and we all met at the meeting point – Emarat petrol station at 05.45 am and then headed towards the deflation point “KHATAM”….i just love this word….it says like ” U r dead ๐Ÿ˜€ “….Tyres were deflated and some short briefing by the marshal and we started our drive…..The convoy was ofcourse lead by Ali Adnan, followed by GAS, then myself, Duke, Ashok and today’s sweep – G Kumar….the drive was interesting with some tall dunes, slides, slopes…..Duke initally was facing some minor issues…but was fine…We reached the camel rock where we had some breakfast session and then started off again .My Pajero had a popp up ๐Ÿ˜ฎ …and was resolved in minutes….Thanks to G kumar, Mujeeb, Duke and GAS :ymapplause: :ymapplause: ….then Ashok was stuck at one of the ridge towards the end and was pulled back…..We touched the road at 09.30 am…inflated the tyres and left….but then Duke had his brakes failed….Then Ashok and myself helped him to reach the main road slowly as we had lots of camels on the road and then he went to the garage to fix the brakes….and safely reached home…I checked with him…In all…the drive was too good and fantastic…. :thanks: to our lead marshal and the entire convoy..Thanks to GAS for all his suggestions and advices…..everyone did a fantastic job guys :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: ….cheers…

The best part of the drive was the morning climate….Even at the popp up and the stuck ups, we never felt the heat….we should start doing these morning drives….

Some selected pics have been posted in the gallery and our facebook page too…..see u all once again for the next drive…..and Best of Luck to Ali Rokadia for his afternoon training drive….chao :drive: :drive: :drive:

Indeed it was a wonderful convoy for a great morning drive. I thoroughly enjoyed the drive and the morning climate and hope its the same with all. For a spicy effect we had couple of struck ups and a pop out which made the drive complete ๐Ÿ™‚
