From this lines, I presume the meeting point is going to be somewhere out of tarmac or some where inside desert. Pls plan your selves accordingly and be equipped with GPS if you want to reach this meeting point in case you receive the meeting point coordinates…

A 55+ KM Drive on the Tricky wet sand Dunes with a nice breeze and a scenic land / sand scape…on a friday morning..that was awsome..Great drive
It was a 9 cars convoy…and the drive started at 7:45 different from the planned 7:15 ase few of the memebrs found it difficult to find tthe meeting point
The initial 30 mins was slightly slow as the tyres were getting a feel of the wet sand..and the Lead kept it slow for every one to get the feel of the terrain..and increased the momentum slowly..then the momentum gain was steady and it went on increasing till the last exit point..
Yes there were few hickups (Stucks,Popouts) during the drive ..but that was normal to have in such a wet and hard track with knife shard ridges..and wet slopes…and nothing to worry..the sweeps were always there to rescue…
For myself , the highlight of the drive was no excuse for any ridges..yes we shaved all those ridges on our way and we have made our track marks on every possible dune by those looooooong side slopes..
and driving on top of those dunes ..balancing your wheels on both sides of the dunes that was great…
The side slopes was amazing…midful of the safety factor.. Trust everyone had fun ..Great Lead by our Marshal Feroz..
Great Support by Sanjay by being the chief of rescue and Duncan by having an eye on the convoy from all possible angles…
The team was overall Good…every one drove well…
Thanks to everyone for such a nice drive…
See you all soon on sand Insha Allah for the next drive..
Few pics have been posted on our FB page..
Drive Safe ..Have Fun…Wow..Nice Report from Ashraf..Felt like I was part of the convoy…
