Tips and advice.
- Bring as much as water you can (at least 4 liter per person).
Bring snacks for yourself and additional one more person.
Bring tire deflator and gauge if you have, else we can buy on the way.
Caps or hats, sunglasses very useful.
Wear enclose footwear as sand is still hot, no sandals and flip flop pls.
Preferably full sleeves clothing unless you intend to get little sun tan.
Deflate tires at 15 psi as per the gauge before entering the desert.
Climb dunes straight uphill and downhill, no side sloping (for first timers).
If you get stuck on climb uphill, don’t accelerate rather drive back and try again.
If you are stuck on crest (blade) of a dune, don’t accelerate and somebody will pull you out.
If you are not sure or confident of anything, don’t do it. Desert has plenty of alternates.
Drive in convoy, keep an eye on the vehicle behind you. If you cant see him stop there immediately.
Always drive in convoy together, if lost from convoy stop and wait there, please don’t drive.
(Just in case), if lost for long time leave the car and climb on top most dune and give us a call.
Don’t forget to protect yourself and your car first before helping others.
If you have radio (walkie talkie), tow rope, rated shackle, shovel, air compressor, Hydraulic Jack, Sand mats, please bring them.
If you see somebody is stuck or struggling, dont go near him. Let him try first some self recovering tips. Once he fails he will def call you.
Always Wear Your Seat Belts
Let’s hope to have enjoyable drive and interested joinees will continue the trail in forthcoming weeks. 😉
