Long day guys. It was hot & tiring. Next time I personally suggest not to have any drives between 9am-3pm. It gets too hot and strains drivers & vehicles. The sand is too hot & loose which makes recovery tedious. Jimny guy Denson was exhausted …

    Hey guys,

Was fun. Almost heart-stopping fun. ๐Ÿ™‚ – a great introduction to desert driving.

Thanks to all you guys – Gaurav, Adeel Bhai, Navin, Jessil & everyone else giving ‘White Pajero’ instructions on how to get out of a sticky predicament (or not get into one!).
Without it, I’m sure I would’ve have just succeeded in giving the Jimny company.

Also, I second Roshan’s ‘make it earlier’ comment – the heat really saps your strength – I have no idea what it does to the sand…
Though, summer’s almost over… so maybe it need not be ‘that’ early. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Cheers !

Thanks a lot first of all for showing up interest when u sign in for drive. All cars were there on time except Roshan who joined us at deflation pt just in time.

Thanks for being on time guys, i really appreciate that.

You all were very great ppl with lot of good learning intentions and patience, I planned lot more than that but i guess due to sticky situation in end we have gotto cut it short.

Before the drive when i lost my Gauge and my GPS died making my all planning invain, i had this feeling that there will more bigger surprise awaits inside the desert. And that become true when Jimny got stuck in that huge bowl which has beaten sand soft sand filled with cross tracks. But it was a great team work showed by all, the one who helped and by the bystanders too by not playing around and showing the disrespect when somebody is down with a problem.

I will plan something more than this for next week before i leave for travel. Keep watching guys.

Its a person’s choice to join or not….!

I guess you have not seen Dubai real summer in Desert. Common man if you cry in mid oct for heat then we can only drive for 2 months in Dubai…..lol. And call that 2 months a Season.

See if convoy keep rolling with lil bit stucks here and there nobody gets strained, its just when some critical recovery arise like today that exhausts the people and that is inevitable in any season.

Sahmed: You have done great for first drive. Without damaging your car with lower lip and without any major stucks. Keep it up dude, you will love it soon and get addicted.
