    Let’s bid farewell to our great FRIEND and Marshall SAM before he embarks on a different journey outside the UAE and we wish him success in his new journey.

    We start our drive in Al Bedayer shops towards his favorite location THE GHOST TOWN. where we will gather and have some foods and drinks.

    I recommend everyone staying after drive to bring his own food,snacks, cool box and just little to share.

    Don’t prefer having BBQ in this time of year so ready food will be the best option.

    Those who can’t stay after drive just feel free, the exit is just a short drive away.

    Day and date: Friday 17 August 2018
    Drive Type: multiple level drive depending on member/marshal registrations
    Meeting Point: Badayer Shops

    Meeting Time: 3:30 pm
    Drive Start: 4:00 pm
    Drive End: sundown
    Duration: 3Hrs approx

    Drive Terrain: big dunes, technical dunes, high-speed flatlands

    NOTE!
    -DO MARSHALS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DENY PARTICIPATION OF ANY ILL-EQUIPPED OR UNSUITABLE VEHICLE!
    -PLEASE BE THERE ON TIME! WE SHALL NOT WAIT FOR LATECOMERS
    -A FULL TANK OF FUEL IS A MUST! 
    -IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU CARRY A COMPATIBLE RADIO TUNED TO DO FREQUENCIES FOUND HERE (RADIO FREQUENCIES)
    PLEASE READ YOUR OWNERS MANUAL AND GET ACQUAINTED WITH THE VARIOUS FUNCTIONS OF THE DEVICE
    AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HOW TO MANUALLY INPUT A FREQUENCY!!
    ANYONE WITHOUT A PROPERLY CONFIGURED RADIO, WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO JOIN THE DRIVE, FOR SAFETY REASONS!

    Best of Luck Sam for your future avenues. I have always enjoyed all my drives with you. Unfortunately cant come for this one as I am away on vacation and will be back only end of Aug. Will miss you and your wonderful drives.

    SAM is more than a Marshall, he’s the real DO spirit. I’m definitely coming to this drive.

    Sam is not just a DO Marshal, He embodies the DO spirit of friendliness and Can DO attitude.

    This is just one of those things of an expat’s life.
    Sam is and will remain a part of DO Family, always, physical re-location notwithstanding.

    There are not enough words to describe how much experience and fun we got with Sam at our DO drives. It’s sad for us, but same time new and exciting step for you. All the best!

    One of my friend is under registration process, but he still did not get positive answer from the admins about his account, so he can not attend to this drive by himself. is it possible, if he is coming with his car to the meeting point for driving?
    He has some drive already with another club, but in DO that would be the first. The car is Jeep Wrangler.

    Best of luck in the future Sam, unfortunately I missed your drive being away for summer. It was always an absolute pleasure driving with you and there’s always an (FJ) door open if you’re passing through again!
