Sattu Paaji.. What is the logic behind this Friday’s date as (08/15/12). If it was somebody else, I would have thought it as simple / typo error 😉 You will have a different reason of your own…… 😀 :))

This will be a fast drive limited to ~6 cars only. If you do not have the required star level and wish to participate and have a capable car, send me a PM. We will consider exceptions but keep in mind that we really don’t want to ruin the fun for others.
We will meet up with the newbie convoy at tawi nizwa at the end of the drive.
Selected daredevils will be given the 6 waypoints via a self destructing flash sms (& nondestructing PM incase you have a bad memory)

Vow!!! it was a great drive after long gap. We all really enjoyed the drive 🙂 Special appreciation to Satwinder for the superb lead, having in mind the convoy level and vehicles all the time :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: . We usually see Satwinder trying all impossible stuffs in sand…. 😉 But today it was a different Sattu Paaji as lead marshal… 🙂 :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause:
We all assembled at Emarat petrol station at Maliha road except for Humayun, who couldn’t recover early morning from his happy thursday hours. By 7.15am we proceeded to Khatam the deflation point and we were four cars, Satwinder in lead, followed by Syed Hassan (Aemi), Ashok and myself in the sweep. I believe we started the drive by around 7.40am. It was a wonderful with balanced mix of climbs, drops, ridges and tracks.
We joined the Training dive convoy lead by Ali at pink rock at around 10.30am after covering, Fossil Rock, Camel Rock and Al Faya. We did some recovery works and also provided support to our colleagues of the Training drive convoy. Dispatched them to road under the lead of Ali and Jerry in sweep. Took few cars from the other convoy with us and proceeded to Tawi Nazwa shops via tracks. Reached the inflation point by around 11.00am and headed home.
Hope everybody in both convoys enjoyed the drive :drive: :drive: :drive: .
Could see many happy and confident faces in the training drive convoy, despite the scorching sun 🙂 Good joy guys.. keep it up.. :-BDI should say Ricardo was supercharged today with his new toy 🙂 He proved to Khalil that his ex-car is good enough to recover a LWB 4×4. 😀
