1. G.Kumar
2. Gerry
3. Robinson
4. Ashok
5. Humayun
6.It was another first lead drive for me at Dubai Offroaders………………… as a Marshal π
For me, it was a very good technical & smooth drive with no mishaps and perfect timing. We were a convoy of 6 cars (Robinson, Tyn, Humayun, Gerry, Ashok and myself), started from the meeting point by 7.35am, covered Fossil Rock, Camel Rock and finished the drive at Al Faya. As planned, the drive ended sharp at 11am.
All of you drove very well β COMMENDABLE :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: truly justifying the extra stars you have earned very recently. As a lead, it made my task very easy. :thanks:
Though we had couple of stuck and repeated attempts, it all was pure fun π I believe there were no scary situations at all. We did a little bit of desert cleaning at Al Faya and also on behalf of Thanseer paid homage to the Nissan Bowl.
Thank you Ashok for the excellent support and coordination at sweep. Humanyunβs usual aggression was helpful for the recoveries. Rob, Gerry, Tyn Roelofs β you all were driving very comfortable and with great confidence :-BD :-BD :-BD
I donβt want to elaborate more, since it was my drive and its looks quite awkward for me π I leave that task to you guys. You all are welcome to post your comments and any suggestions / advice for improvement is appreciated.
Thank you all once again for the wonderful company and for the good drive. Look forward for many such good drives again with you all guys.

Keep up the good things…. :-BD :-BD :-BD Happy to hear that you visited the Nissan Bowl and paid the homage π on your first official lead as a Marshal(lol)… How is the Bowl now. Did you go down and climb up or did the circles…? Always give respect to this bowl…(lol). π
Waiting for the party of the promotion…. :-w :-w :-w :ymparty: :ymparty: :ymparty:

I didnt take the convoy down to the bowl. Showed them the bowl from top. I remember in one of the previous post, you mentioned that it has increased its height. I think it is correct, but can have a real feel of it only from the down.
Kumar,
No worries. there is nothing wrong. i was bit lazy in the afternoon to write the report as feeling drowsy…it was an awesome drive and feel like going again on the dunes of Al Faya all the way to the top.
your lead was commendable and excellent..
Look forward for next week drive in new area..

It was another great drive with Kumar leading the group. Big difference today that he arrived this morning as the newest Marshal. First official drive for him as a Marshal! It was a great drive, fast but not furious π
Kumar is a very special Marshal. He is giving instructions by radio, make sure we are doing OK, and takes care also not to damage the cars! If he hits an ugly bump, he tell us to take another path or to take it with care, or how to take it.
I strongly believe we have great Marshals. Ali as our teacher and the rest to test our skills. I am very happy to be a member of this tem.Congratulations Kumar of a very well deserved task. :thanks: :thanks: :drive: :drive:
May 26, 2012 at 3:08 pm #17195It was a fantastic drive led by Kumar. All of us had a great time! Appreciate the skills and the information shared so willingly by Kumar. :thanks: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause:
