AnonymousApril 26, 2017 at 7:20 pm #38933C’mon Paul, 6:00am start should be convenient for you! Long live the early morning drives!!
We covered alot of distance today. We started near Al Awir and headed towards Fossil Rock, this section had some fast straight sections and some nice long ridges that we dabbled in, as we neared fossil rock we encountered some big side slopes that were enjoyed by all. Half the group wanted to go over fossil rock so Asim and Francis took them safely over. Then we made our way through the rolling dunes that gradually got bigger on the way to Faya dune. We then had to cross the road via a long U-turn (as there is a central barrier now) and made our way to 2nd December Street and Pink Rock and then finally across the safari rutted desert to finish with going over big red. It was a pleasure to lead you all. Thanks to Asim and Francis at the back sweeping, but again they were rarely used as everyone was driving well and safely.
