My third drive within 24 hours, was expecting to have some breakdowns, luckily it was just a broken bumpstop #:-s which i had to fix shortly after the drive started, as the fender chewed the new tyre :-ss
Thought will be able to catchup with the newbie convoy, but it was not the case :-s took me only 20 mins to build a new bumpstop, but the convoy was already outside radio coverage. Followed the tracks for a while, and at a point they intersected other tracks (of inter convoy). Not knowing which leads where, followed the instinct and found the inter convoy during a tuff recovery. Joined them as last car, and it was the best advanced drive i had since more than a year :yesss: All tall dunes, high speed ridging, ups and downs, just later discovering that it was actually John leading :ymhug: great one, keep it up mate :ymhug:
Surprisingly we finished shortly after Joes convoy, and at the same exit gate :ymsmug: looks like newbies were also flying the dunes :))
Lots of emotions, was a weekend to remember, this drive topped it up, see you all soon, drive safe and enjoy every bit of it 😡 :drive:

Thank you for the trip report Dennis and really glad you enjoyed the drive 🙂
Everyone did quite well. We had a few second attempts during the first half of the drive around the technical area of al faqaa but once we reached the big tall dunes it was continuous fun and adrenaline rush. Thanks Francis for the winch support and Asim for the great second lead. Looking forward to more drives with everyone!
