Hey folks :ymcowboy:
Thanks to @samonajj and @Baher for such a nice drive.
That day ive been a bit tyred and just got my car fixed at 5 in a morning.
But still had enough of energy to go offroading with newbee convoy.
For me it’s also experience to do recovery for participants,
Good point to be guided by marshal and ranger how to do it in proper and safe way.
Hope i was a good second lead ๐Thanks for a nice drive Joe…
But it was a bad day for me…. First of all was not really ready for the drive as I am still recovering from the fever Flu :ymsick:
Arrived late at meeting point.. my bad I misunderstood 3pm as meeting time… my deflator and PSI meter was in my other car… borrowed it from @dedw8 and quickly deflated … but as I was already late I was in a hurry and didnt deflate to proper pressure and got stuck around 5 minutes in to the drive… had a pop out… and got stuck couple more time on the ridges… thanks @paskalr1 and @dedw8 pulling me out most of the time… :ymhug:After we reached Al Qudra, few of us wanted to leave, so we made a small convoy lead by @Avinash Sudheer and left, but again was going thru the sand to reach the road by a shortcut… but most of us didnt have proper lighting and it was getting challenging, so we had come back to the lake area and follow the gravel… on our way back there was a NIssan Patrol which was stuck and @Avinash Sudheer got them unstuck and we continued.
To my surprise after all this my air compressor was not turning on :-\ it had some loose contact… somehow managed to fill up and leave.
On the road my car was shaking like anything above 60KMPH… X( Didnt know what was causing he issue till I removed the tyre and checked them today to find almost 1KG of sand inside the front right (the tyre that popped out during the drive)

When y thick, things going wrong, like not under your control.
I had the same filling that day, thats why to go with newbee was my right decision ๐
A bit shocked how much sand y could get inside the tireSorry to hear that @Nidun. But getting stuck and having pop out is all part of learning for you as well as for members who gain knowledge about recovery. So never mind on that part :ymhug:. Regarding other things, they are not in our control. Last Friday even I damaged 1 of the Rim and on top of that lost my Radio in the desert during the process of changing the spare :p .

BTW how did you damage the rim :-\

Well not sure how and when it happened :ymblushing: , during the drive I was loosing air again n again until Duncan noticed the damaged Rim on the inner side. As per experienced members they told I would have hit a Rock really hard :-$

Thanks @samonajj for organizing the drive and @joe.zeinoun leading the intermediate convoy. The convoy was in good pace and the drive was real fun. Even though we had couple of recoveries and pop outs, its all part of learning experience. Now i have got a good hold of using my winch and I believe my investment was fruitful.
Looking forward for another drive! :drive: :drive: :drive: :thanks:
