    MEO celebrates its first Anniversary on April 24 (Friday) this year. Its time to celebrate :ymparty: Lets decide on how we’d like to celebrate. Here’s a suggestion:

    Lets organise a GRAND party in the desert – complete with a DJ and sound system. Hire a catering company to set out formal table arrangements and a buffet. Build a small podium (with mic) and give away prizes to our members for their contributions to the club. We can have various prize categories like:

    Best Marshal
    Best BBQ Chef
    Most Improved Offroader
    Best Route Planner
    Most Loveable Character
    Most Active Participant
    Most Memorable Trip (Organiser)
    Best Behind The Scenes Contributor (Hamza?!)
    Most Stucks
    Best Radio Communication Dialogues (!)
    Funniest Post on Forums
    Best Photographer
    Offroader Of The Year
    etc etc…

    We’ll obviously need funds for the party and the prizes. I suggest that we all contribute Dhs 150 per person towards the First Anniversary Party Fund (FAPF) and assign a team to organise this grand event. For your convenience, contributions can also be made online through your credit card (have an online payment gateway we can use for this purpose, just send in your email id and you will receive an online payment request).

    Lets remember that commercial tour companies charge as much as Dhs 1,500 for a trip to Liwa and over Dhs 750 for a trip to Musandam… so MEO has saved us a lot of money… and provided us an extended family of friends to enjoy our outings with like-minded people… so lets make this a night to remember.

    Last date for confirming participation is March 15.

    Your gift hamper is on its way… probably caught in Sharjah-Dubai traffic… must be reaching you soon! 😉

    You’re still 4 short though…. Can I also try guessing?! 😕

    BTW…. we must ask Manju and Juhi to come prepared to sing during the party…

    shj dxb traffics seems to be good from yesturday… hence no delay.. dont be like your sweet heart. 😀 . who beat arround the bushes.. 😉

    n only 2 left not four… hence im the winner.. b’coz no one didnt even bothr to try it out..

    about manju n juhi.. i’ll ask them to start practing the songs from now onwards.. i’ll take atleast that responsibility… 😕

    C’mon… your’re the ‘jaan’ of the party…. No Manju, no party… You HAVE TO, HAVE TO sing!!!!

    This time we’ll have a mic and a good sound system too… we can even bring some Karaoke music on the laptop
