    Just to recap:

    Plans for the GRAND MEOFFROADERS ANNIVERSARY PARTY are finalised. You can look forward to:

    • Scintillating Belly Dancing performance
    • Live DJ Music
    • Dance Floor
    • A fully laid out buffet dinner
    • Drinks
    • Henna artist on venue
    • Dune Buggy Rides (optional)
    • Live BBQ
    • Children’s Play Area
    • Awards ceremony
    • Singing competition

    Date: 24th April, 2009: Friday
    Time: 7 PM
    Meeting Point: Emarat Petrol Station, Maliha Road
    End Time: 01 Hours, Saturday
    The convoy will leave for the desert campsite at 7.15 pm

    CONTRIBUTION:
    Adults: Dhs 100
    Couples: Dhs 150
    Children (under 12 years): Dhs 50

    Those of you who do not have 4×4 vehicles can also join in as we have arrangements to ferry you to and from the party venue. You can also bring in your friends and their families to join in the party. It being a Friday, I’m sure a lot of non-members will be eager to join the party too as we have negotiated special deals for our club which otherwise cost much more. Where else will you get such wholesome, unadulterated fun at such a reasonable price…. So spread the word… the more the merrier :-*

    May I also request members to vote for pictures in the Photoalbum… as we are in the process of deciding the ‘Best Photographer of the Year’ award.

    Any suggestions on who should be awarded as the “Most Improved Offroader of the Year” award?

    The theme for this MEO Grand party has been set. The theme is “Tapori”… like a fancy dress party… please try and wear tapori dresses… Some pictures below to help you design your outfit for the MEO Anniversary Party…

    We will have a drive through thedesert before the party… which starts at 4.30 pm and will culminate at the MEO Anniversary Party campsite.

    Level: Newbie / intermediate
