DIRECTIONS TO MEO PARTY MEETING POINT)
From Dubai continue on the Emirates Road towards Sharjah and turn right from the National Paints Roundabout.
Continue straight on that road for 14.5 kms and you will arrive at the Emarat Petrol Station (Meeting Point)… its just after you cross Badee Interchange 4. Be there on or before 7pm SHARP.DIRECTION FROM EMARAT PETROL STATION TO TARMAC ENTRY POINT INTO CAMPSITE:
Zero in your odometer at the Emarat Petrol Station. Continue down the road for 5.9 kms where you will turn right. After you turn right continue straight till your odometer reads 13.7 kms (from the Emarat Pump) and stop. On your right you will see a fence and some cars parked by the roadside. Saloon cars can park there and you will be transported to the campsite. There is a dirt track going right, along the fence. And you should be able to see electrical power towers through your windscreen.

I see no one has responded on this topic for the last few days and am compelled to break the ice.
Lets spread the word to BAN…… SURAJ CAMP ……. for any parties or even recommending it to anyone for any sort of visits. They provided us the most pathetic and disgusting service. Anything, whatsoever, that they promised was entirely missing from the party.
Organizers,
Firstly pl. dont take me wrong as I’m not saying anything about your intentions as I think you guys also got to know this during the party. But if we were by ourselves (only members) then it was another story but all of us brought our families and friends to the party to enjoy and felt really embarrassed.Secondly we really need to work on the “coordination” as the people were not brought to the camp in a disciplined manner. No team was really assigned the duties of guiding people properly. All marshals and senior members were probably invited as guests only but not assigned any responsibilities.
Thirdly the party plan lagged fire. I was expecting that the club’s progress will be mentioned, trips organized will be talked about, total members joined would have been boasted about etc. etc.
Anyhow I thought to mention these few things as positive notes for betterment.
Adeel bhai: whatever u said is very valid and true. I appreciate everything that happen for good intentions and efforts made, and i am ready to forget and forgive everything abt suraj camp, as it his business no emotional or personal connection with us.
Before expecting him to greet us on red carpet we should peep inside ourselves, that how much organised, COURTEOUS and disciplined (Board members and senior members) we were.
One man behind the scene (Naved) was NOT AT ALL enough. It was crime to leave everything on one person head. People shud have come fwd and shared the responsibilities. All by himself whatever Naved achieved, i really salute that man, who was doing everything with a big smile on his face and entertained all of us like a guest.
Naved bhai, you truly set an example that where there is a will there is a way. I believe people shud get more serious in what they want from this club, members and themselves. Rome wasnt built in a day, and neither one person is enough to run any show be it bday or drives. We should stand together and pitch together if we really like this club.
Gaurav, I second u on that, Naved did a marvelous job arranging this event single handed. However, I would have loved to help if assigned anything and so do the others, as we owe this to the club.
But no compromise on banning the SURAJ CAMP !!! X(
I would even recommend putting it on other forums so that other people b aware of this!!Note:- Unless we audit ourselves, how could we become better. So lets learn lessons!
Lets move on… We live and learn…. We’re richer by the experience…
