Hatta Mountain and Wadi Drive.
Date: 24 Oct 2008, Friday.
Place: Hatta beautiful mountains allow to drive in a very nice and challenging manner.
Meeting Point: Dragon Mart Sandy Parking just after crossing eppco.
Meeting Time: 8.00 am and leave by 8.15 am sharp.
Level: For anybody with any 4×4 car. With or without rock driving experience.Plan: Start by 8.15am and reach Hatta by 10.00. Get final refuelling done at last petrol station before hatta Fort Hotel. Then hit the Mountains and wadi and drive while enjoying the scenic beauty and break on top of mountain for some snacks and pictures (if we can, depends on no. of cars). Then exit the mountain and find a suitable place in or near wadi by 2.00 pm for Lunch break. After lunch then head back to Tarmac with two options.
Option I: Go to Sand (for easy relaxing drive from 4 – 6.30). My Way
Option II: Go back to Dubai. or HighwayPlease list your names, Car, Mobile number, and mention which option you are choosing.
Please bring snacks and lunch for yourself and for 1 more person. Bring camping chair or mats to sit for Lunch break. Any 4 wheel car will go but make sure that your 4×4 system is working (if u havent used from long time). Your car tyres has to be in good condition, if its near finishing tread, please change it. I will post wadi and mountain drive tips and techniques soon. Keep watching Here.

hey guys are we actually gonna go to the wadi or just for a mountain drive…and will there be any water there do u guys have any info pls let me know as i wud be interested in coming along if we are going to a wadi for sure…

We are going thru Wadi for sure, as entry to mountain climb is after passing some part of wadi. But im not sure if there will be water or not. Chances are less as its not raining. But u never know it may be raining in that part of uae, as it happen quite often.

It might take little more braking distance. And anyways we will be going slowly uphill and downhill with enough gap. But ya good smart concern. Convoy order will be decided on that day morning.
