Rocks and Mountain Driving Techniques.
Keep your loose stuff properly tied up and secure. As in bumpy ride it will make lot of noise and its better to drive quite vehicle.
Deflate to 25 PSI while driving in rocky terrain.
Maintain a safe distance from the car in front atleast 10 – 15 cars gap while downhill or climbing mountain on loose gravel track. In normal wadi track 5 – 10 cars distance is fine.
Always pick up ur vehicle slowly (use 2nd start button if you have) and apply the soft brake. Plan ur braking ahead and step on brake slowly.
In case of emergency braking apply both foot brake and hand brake simultaneously.
Hold the steering from outside, as sometime in rocky terrain steering turn to one side by itself with speed, so if u have thumb inside the steering wheel then you may have some injuries.
On mountain always park ur car away from track u have come, and always park in gear or (P) with handbrake on.
Use LO gear if climbing on extreme elevation with acute angles, and u can use LO gear while going downhill to use engine braking power instead of brake. Ideally LO 2nd gear will be enuf for both the job.Click lot of pictures and keep smiling ๐
