Day and date: Saturday 20th December 2014
Drive Type: Intermediate and upwards depending on convoy performance
Meeting Point: 24.820882, 55.774379 (google maps)
N24° 49.302′ E55° 46.453′ (GPS users)Meeting Time: 14.00pm
Drive Start: 14.15pm sharp
Drive Route & Terrain: Dare I say sand! 😀
Duration: 3 hours (before sundown)
A high dune hunt taking in all the big dunes and deep bowls. We should have the desert to ourselves in this area with trackless paths and ridges until we reach super bowl.
Hope some of you can make it before the work week starts again.
Checklist:-
a) Keep your emergency contact info at vehicle dashboard.
b) Carry air compressor with you and ensure it’s in working condition.
c) Ensure your 4 x 4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with enough fuel.
d) Compatible Radio is a must.
e) Carry all necessary off-road gears / recovery equipment in good condition.
f) Carry enough water / refreshments / re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).
g) Off-road Insurance preferred.Please read the below points at the top of the page and register for the drive:-

Last petrol is madam roundabout but better to fuel up at labab roundabout. Plan accordingly. =;

Again fantastic drive in a proper intermediate level with support from the experts members, the drive was full of high dunes and so many tricky dunes and technical dunes , so many second try. many dunes are scary before you cross it, but once you are there you feel proud of what you and your leaders-Marshals are doing with a lot of fun. some drivers get stuck 2 times (ONLY ME) 🙂 but as always i feel safe and confidence when i drive with the one and only DO Marshall’s..
