Visit the ADIHEX 2011 Abu Dhabi International Hunting & Equiestrian Exhibition being held at ADNEC Abu Dhabi on Saturday the 17th of Sept. 2011.
The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region, and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club. This national event will enjoy camel auctions, saluki beauty contests, art competitions and traditional hunting and equestrian activities. Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase the latest camping, hunting, equestrian and weaponry equipment from over 500 brands. Plus view a designated heritage area to acquaint visitors with the deep-rooted traditions of Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
From Wednesday 14th September to Saturday 17th September 2011 experience the Middle East’s most renowned and established hunting and equestrian exhibition.
The exhibition will offer its visitors the chance to see the latest innovations related to hunting, equestrian activities, and outdoor sports.I am planning to visit this on Saturday the 17th of September when most exhibitors are looking forward to going back after disposing of at least some of the permissible display items, so maybe we can pick up a few bargains.
Meeting Point Emarat Jebel Ali on Dubai Abu Dhabi Road just after JAFZ.
Meeting Time 1645 Hrs. for a 1700 Hrs. departure.
ETA at ADNEC 1800 Hrs. Approx.
Return to Dubai @ 2000 Hrs.
Arrival @ Dubai 2130 Hrs. approx.

Should we start bit earlier 😕 to walk around all the stalls and need to consider the traffic as well.

After this EXB.. we would have armed drivers and Hunting Trips… :))
The Off Roading bug is itself an off shoot of the hunting trips that we have been going on since childhood…
The normal companion on such outings have been a Winchester Model 270 in 30.06 calibre & a couple of old double barrelled shotguns rather than the tow ropes & the compressors.
