Please note that this is an intermediate drive rated for Participants WITH A MINIMUM OF TWO STARS RATING, others are most welcome to join in as a passenger.
This is not being done to discourage anybody but an essential requirement to keep the drive at an intermediate level and to maintain the pace as we have had more than a few drives ruined by a few drivers not being able to keep up with the convoy.
Your understanding is appreciated.

i am not asking this as a participant interested for the above drive. What will happen if somebody who is driving very well dosen’t have star’s to fall back. I have seen some people that are helping us out as marshalls does not have any star.
How do I know how many “stars” I have? How do I gain them?
That is correct to some extent…Anand.
We still have to set some parameters and standards to be able to maintain the quality of the drives…besides, this being a completely democratic setup every member has the potential to be a future Marshal.
If the army ranks were about fighting…then the private would be the higheset rank !!! Similarly the stars are not just about driving…How did you get your star, Anand ?
The hurdle is not there for one to stumble…but to jump over it !!!
So all you guys…gear up and ask for an evaluation from the Marshals on your next drive.Some important pointers on what one looks for in a potential Marshal…

This is a bit confusing to me….I was told by a Marshal that I could go to intermediate, but I don’t see any star on my profile….this means there are different intermediate levels? 😕 Hey, I am not asking for stars… just wondering where to put myself on the ranks…. 😀

Hi Ahmed Bhai,
Thanks for your immediate and detailed response. The main reason for me in writing was due to the fact that will anybody who really has all the prerequisites to become a marshal be ignored by the evaluating panel without noticing or may be due to certain personal reasons..
And isn’t it fair to have some type of grading below the stars for a driver to know his position (at least for a currently active participant that has appeared for more than 5 consecutive drives minimum)….

What a bad luck !!!!
Cant join this as am travelling tonight to India for a week. Hope there will be more intermediate and advanced drives and will be able to participate.
