Thanks to Ahmed Bhai for this great drive :thanks:
Everybody reported at the meeting point in time following the given coordinates, proving the drive belongs to them :-BD
As expected it was a tricky and skill testing drive, giving hard time for the rescue & recovery team – Sam, Humayun, Gerry & Saif ^:)^ ^:)^ ^:)^ Sorry guys, I couldn’t offer any support since yesterday’s night life in desert gifted me flu which forced me to confine within my car, most of the time ๐
We could spot herds of Gazelles running in parallel to our convoy and a desert fox (real desert fox not our Salim Bhai ๐ )
The convoy didn’t had enough momentum to stick to the original drive plan, resulting in finishing the drive at around 6.30pm near to Al Hayer. Second part of this drive, starting from Al Hayer to Al’Ain can be expected shortly ๐
Thanks to rest of the team as well for the great drive – Thanseer, Firoz, Andy, Robinson & Ricardo :thanks:
See you all again in sands very shortly :-BD :drive:

OLD MAN EMU SPORTS did a wonderful job on its first trip.
Enjoyed every bit of it….not minding our 2 stucks ๐
Thanks Ahmed Bhai, Thanseerji, Humayun, GKumar, TYN, Rob, Ricardo, Gerry, Saif, SAM for the great company and support.
(And Thanks to syedbhai aka aemi and Satwinder for the free slot ๐ )
Thanks Thanseer ji for your hospitality.
Look forward for more drives alongside big boys :yesss:
Thanks guys for the good fun. Although we were a bit short of the final destination in Al Ain the drive was fast, technical and the landscape was gorgeous at times. It just feels good to be out in the desert with such an experienced group of people. Looking forward to the second part!
