Thanks Jessil for the brilliant trip. It was nice spectacle to see convoy of 16 cars. But at the same time we missed Ahmad Bhai, and Saif.

Sorry Guys…was out since morning yesterday reconnoitring the final route for the Gulf News Fun Drive.
Very nice to see such a large convoy & to know that everybody had fun… 🙂

Thanks a lot guys. really did enjoy the trip, also learnt a lot of stuff again. Special thanks once again to all the marshals. You guys did a wonderful job, specially Jessil for the drive, Ali, Naveen, +2 more for helping my car out. i really did not catch or probably forgot the other two names of the guys who helped. one had the two door nissan patrol and the other in the yellow t shirt (was it ahmed khan). sorry guys about the description. hope u guys know who i am talking about.

i am eagerly waiting for another drive. hope this gets bigger and better with lesser flaws.

A good drive till Big Fall, though due to a Bid Convoy and Lot of Locals Showing off their skills, Jessil cleverly decided to take easy route.
but, the fun never ends there, tha another Drives happened which actually didnot happen.

From BigFall, We (Me, Ibrahim, Sridhar, Arif, and Black FJ(dont know you name pal)) decided to have a night drive, till Big red from Big Fall.
So we said Bye to all other and started our Blind Journey to the Land of Darkness.
the convoy positions were, Adnan(lead), Sridhar, Baj FJ, Arif and Finally Ibrahim at sweep. we crossed the area full of bushes quite diligently finding our way through the maze of bushes, I think we did it quite well despite the night and darkness, there was only not a single spot till the road near pink rock, where we have to floor the accelerator or had to Jump the car.
After reaching Pink rock we has a chat for a while, then decided to continue our Journey towards Big red. with first few minutes we found that we are only three, so we stopped and search for the 2 cars started. in this search black FJ got his tyre Pop out, so while we were fixing the pop out other two cars, Arif and Ibrahim arrive at spot. this is again where the importance of seeing the car at your back has shown its important, if the third car was following this simple principal, there would have not any search operation of pop outs.
Again we started the journey and reach Big red in safe and sound condition,
In short again it was a great experience and fun for all of us, which was quit obvious by the comments ever one was sharing.
For me also it was a good learning to lead a night drive in area which is not much familiar.

Do let me know when they are gonna be publishing the forms for participating. This year I badly wanted to participate but the que was as long as the Burj and i couldnt get through. Next year i defintly want to join in.
