GKumar, thanks for an excellent drive i enjoyed to the fullest , it was fast, tricky & soft, overall fultoo fun, was been waiting for such a drive after long time, Ganesh thanks for the breakfast, Tushar & Abdullah excellent sweep.
looking for more of such fun drive.:thanks:
Last moment change in meeting point was very well received by all registered members and marshals :-BD
Unfortunately, Satwinder couldnβt join due to certain unexpected business requirements, who actually had offered a drive to new intermediate area behind pink rock. However, his crime partner Ronin joined us to help exploring the new area π
Intermediate convoy was formed at Tawi Nazwa shops and headed to the deflation point sharp in time. It was absolutely a new area for myself and hope it was the same with most of us. Thanks to Satwinder, Tushar and Sam for identifying this new terrain of full fun :thanks: Personal gratitude to Tushar for providing their previous exploration details to me :thanks:
After deflation and briefing, straight away we hit the high tricky dunes. Being an intermediate drive, it was a tough startup without the warm up phase, which resulted in few hiccups at the very beginning itself. Thanks for the great support from Abdullah and Tushar at sweep.
Since it was badly affecting the drive momentum, we decided to dilute the difficulty level. Thereafter the drive was relatively smooth, maintained good pace to pink rock, tackled tricky climbs and bowls and had some fun as well at big red. We had a flat tire and broken exhaust at big red. Thanks to Abdullah and shotgun rider Yousef for their untiring efforts at recovery ^:)^ ^:)^ ^:)^
All of you drove very well :-BD :-BD :-BD and thank you guys for the great company and hope you had fun. I really enjoyed the drive at lead and definitely want to drive more with you guys π Bappi Dada, thank you for the great hospitality of breakfast at pink rock :thanks:
Ashok was really the second lead, back to his old camel :-BD, The Jeepers – Amjed, Ricardo and Tyn were rocking \M/ The Pajeros – Ganesh and Mehul were extracting the best out of their machines π The Heavy Duties – Tushar, Abdullah and Rob were in full command at all times at sweep :-BD
Expecting pictures and detailed drive report from the pro π
Thank you all once again :thanks:
On a safety note β if a member is late to the meeting point, please inform the lead in advance. We always try our best to accommodate all interested members. If you canβt join the convoy, please cancel the drive plan rather than venturing alone into the desert, with no backup or support. You all will agree that we are executing an adventurous and risky game and thereby mishaps are inevitable part of it which can happen to anybody at any time, irrespective of skill and experience. We are being strong advocates of safety, requesting all members to refrain from risking yourself, by driving alone in desert [-X [-X [-X

All drivers coped “Almost” well when the Tiger roared π

Great leadership as usual and great support from the marshal team. Adbullah and Yousef, you guys are a blessing and a great addition to DO!
We got Tyn exhaust fixed at Tawi Nazwa shops in a breeze. The welder amazingly untied the twisted exhaust pipe and welded back in for 150AED. We were even treated with complimentary fresh dates as we waited! That was remarkable ending for a memorable morning!
