    Thanks David..

My first question is about the capability of my edge to go off-road.. I tried searching in google but could not find any clear answer.. May be u r aware the ford edge is a 3.6L , 285hp, V6 engine with a Sport gear(manual shift) available.. But I doubt the ground clearance ..

Dear Sreekanth…I doubt whether Ford Edge is a 4 wheel drive car….Its basically not meant for desert offroading…Even i bought a Ford Edge 2013 for my wife and they specifically told me its not meant for desert….but Wl aslo check with some professionals and let u know…

    Cheers

    Hello Sreekanth,

Which model you have? The Edge SE, Edge SEL and Edge Limited .

if im not wrong it comes with front wheel drive & All wheel drive. without low range gear.

if you have all wheel drive you can enjoy the tracks and small dunes. newbie drives only…

Its is an Edge Limited.. Its an AWD..yes..low range gear is not available ๐Ÿ™

but can I use the sports mode where I can control the gear manually??
