Hola all,
Wondering whether a beginner should go for these kits to rectify the bung back end of his 2011 Xterra SE?
Working on a lower budget but obviously looking for some capable gear that will withstand Dubai speed bumps and some week-to-week camp driving.
Any prices, suggestions and recommended retailers are welcome!
Cheers

Hey KenXterra, following your post I read a couple of comparison reports from Oz sites that rate the OME as a better performing suspension/lift option. The OME is more expensive of course, they don’t have a workshop in Dubai as yet, only AD. The mechanics there quoted me over the phone 4500AED for an FJC and 2hours of work. Maybe check their website <www.arbemirates.com>. Ashraf over at DAW quoted me 3800 for the same thing in Ironman

FK42 NISSAN X TERRA SWAY BAR PACKER 100.00 1 100.00
TOTAL DHS 5750.00After your suggestion of taking it slowly and doing the research, I intend to go for a pair of the rear OME shocks. I’ll see how that goes in fixing the rear bottoming out so regularly. If it is a problem with the additional load I carry when taking out the camping gear for DOE expeditions then I might look into adding a leaf or upgrading to the ARB leaf springs.
Anyone know of a reliable and affordable garage that can fit the shocks for me?
Cheers,
K

K[/quote]Hi KenXterra,
I’ve lifted this contact from a previous post on the subject of Xterra’s he runs an auto operation, maybe you should continue the research just a bit more before getting out the credit card Mr Ali Asgher Rokadia (050 5059276) ๐I’ve been given this contact by other FJC owners as a good garage for mods but not as yet made contact, Best Line Garage 042674945 (Shibu)
