    A Relaxing Drive starting from Tawi Nazwa towards Pink Rock and then Big Red 28th of June 2013.

    Day and date : Friday the 28th of June ‘2013
    Drive Route : Tawi Nazwa – Pink Rocks – Big Red
    Drive Type : Newbee + Learners
    Meeting Point : Tawi Nazwa Shops

    Direction to Reach the Meeting Point:
    On Dubai Hatta Road (E44) drive towards Hatta direction. After passing Lehbab round, drive about 10 Kms. approximately and you will reach Tawi Nizwa. Immediately after the exit to Margham, on your right hand side you can see some shops named Tawi Nazwa / Jebel Nazwa / Mountain Supermarket etc.

    Thanks Saif for the professional lead of the Fewbie convoy, and special thanks for appointing me as a Sweep for the first time! 🙂 :yesss: It was great opportunity to experience the drive from a different point of view. Obviously it requires more attention, responsibility and skills, tried to do my best, but there is more to learn. Even got stuck once in the soft sand – it’s pretty scary in the back, when no one’s around :-ss :p , but fortunately help arrived and got the pull.
    It was a joyful drive, through a pretty nice track to the Pink Rock, then back to Badayer. We covered long distance, had side-sloping, crest-crossing, high dunes, some routine recoveries, nice windy weather everything what’s needed for a perfect Friday afternoon drive.

    Seems it was a great weekend for “Dubai Offroaders” both in sands & on top of the mountains’ 🙂

    Glad you enjoyed the drive, and you did very well as sweep for our small convoy.
    The drive didn’t turn our as relaxing as I’d thought but all in all i’d say a good outing in the Sand
