Day and date: Saturday 27th December 2014
Drive Type: Intermediate and upwards depending on convoy performance
Meeting Point: 24.764503, 55.366366 (google maps)
N24° 45.906′ E55° 22.002′ (GPS users)Meeting Time: 14.00pm
Drive Start: 14.15pm sharp
Drive Route &Terrain: Sand, ridges, dunes & bowls.
Duration: 3 hours (before sundown)
A tricky drive in a soft area starting in lisailli with plenty of ridges and bowls to keep you on your toes.
We will have some high dunes as we approach Al Faquaa before we finish at sundown.
Hope some of you can make it before the work week starts again.
Checklist:-
a) Keep your emergency contact info at vehicle dashboard.
b) Carry air compressor with you and ensure it’s in working condition.
c) Ensure your 4 x 4 vehicle is in perfect condition and with enough fuel.
d) Compatible Radio is a must.
e) Carry all necessary off-road gears / recovery equipment in good condition.
f) Carry enough water / refreshments / re-hydration drinks for self & co-passenger(s).
