As the milder weather is coming to an end, the opportunities for camping & longer drives are diminishing as well.
Let us go & have a long nice drive & Camping trip to the Majestic Liwa, in the Empty Quarters.
The high dunes of the Liwa in the empty Qaurters, almost completely devoid of vegetation are an awe inspiring spectacle.
They have been Towering apparently unchanged and timeless since millennia.
Traversing through the sands can only be accomplished with expert navigation & deliberate skilful driving.
The Dune slipfaces, seemingly steeper than the 30 degree angle that they actually are, can exceed a vertical height of 100 metres.
This is going to be a two day trip leaving Dubai on Friday Morning & to be back by Saturday evening, Insha Allah.
The meeting point for the convoy is Al Rawda Emarat on Dubai Al’Ain Highway at 0845Hrs. for a 0900Hrs. departure.
This Emarat is approx. 10Kms. ahead of the Outlet Mall & just before the J.Ali/ Hatta/ Lehbab turn-off flyover on DXB-Al’Ain Highway.
We will camp in the evening in the sands & the nights are still chilly so please come prepared with sufficient warm gear, along with proper sleeping & camping equipments.
There will be a Communal Bonfire & Barbecue so please carry sufficient wood & food for self +20% more.
The cars have to be fully equipped for a rigorous expedition type drive with complete rescue kit & they should be fully serviceable.
There should be sufficient provision for the car to go off Road without re-fuelling for upto 350 Kms.
Those cars with a smaller fuel tank may have to carry extra fuel in Jerry cans to avoid running out of fuel in the desert.

Thank you so much for organizing such a Drive. As other team members, I am IN and thrilled to be included in such a Camping Drive.
I look forward to the Camping Trip.
