Liwa on 4th / 5th Feb?

    Hi guys, I’ve seen you make a trip down to Liwa on 18/19th. Too bad that this we doesn’t work out for me.
    Now some friends ask me for a trip down there on 4th/5th February. Our group is quit often out here in Dubai but for Liwa I really would feel better if a some interested (Liwa experienced) Guys would join us…

    Until now we would be between 4 and 5 cars already.

    Really looking forward to go there, I’ve never been in Liwa until now 🙁

    Liwa Drive is something that needs to be attempted with extreme caution and SHOULD NOT be done in an adhoc manner.

    The terrain and the remoteness of the region makes getting lost or severely stuck a very real possibility indeed, which could have very serious consequences.

    The Liwa desert is a vast expanse and getting stranded out there is not recommended if one has some plans for the future.

    Please join the upcoming Liwa Drive in February or wait for the next drive to be posted.

    Thank you all so much for your answers, will discuss it with my friends and I think we might give up on the plans for this weekend (weather is might anyway not great).

    For the 18/19 trip I’m not available, so looks like I’ve to wait another year for Liwa… 🙁
