New Bee + Intermediate trip : July 6 , 2012
Meeting point : Tawi Nizwa 4.30 pm
Drive time: 5 pmNewbee Convoy: Tushar+Saif( lead )
Intermediate Convoy: ali (lead)All drivers met at the mentioned meeting point and the convoy was divided to two, one led by Tushar (Newbee) and other led by Ali(Intermediate) its glad that Mr.Ahmed joined us for the drive and was in Ali’s vehicle.
After deflation the convoys set for the drive PINK ROCK, Ali’s lead was excellent with tricky & soft dunes the drive was marverlous without any stuck, one popout of Musa at the PINKROCK and was dealt effortless with all members contributing to it and was a training for the all to witness how to deal with popouts
Back from PINK ROCK the convoy was made a single one led by Tusar and sweep by Kumar but somehow the convoy was split as someof us lost the track but were joined by Satwinder who led the rest convoy back to Tawi Nizwa and it was a RallyStyle drive with Satwinder, I enjoyed every moment of the drive from start to end.
End of the drive all met at Tawi Nizwa and Karak Tea and chat for few mintues befor all left to sweet home with lots of memories and clicks.
Thanks to all drivers and special thanks our entire marshal and their efforts to organize such fun filled drives for us.

Friday’s drive was indeed a blast….wonderful to see so many cars in action…. :ymapplause:
As in the report by Amjed, the convoy was divided into two…i was in the group led by Ali…following him…the drive was absolutely a pace drive….with good response and momentum shown by everyone….it really tested the skills of the driver as well the car’s power to tackle the very tricky soft sand….
Ali along with Mr.Ahmed gave the entire convoy an awesome experience of the new track at the Pink rock area…I drove for the first time in this route….
:thanks: to Satvinder, GKumar for all their support and guidance provided to all the drivers…Mehul and Zarir were too good and one point we all three were so proud of our Pajero to be at the top of the mark following the lead marshal 😉
There was only one pop-out and it was resolved in no time….Tushar with his team also joined us at the pink rock area and then we proceeded towards Tawi Nizwa….Ali along with the 3 pajeros …..GKumar, satvinder with the other convoy..
Overall a very good evening and a fantastic drive….

Thanks to Ali for the amazing lead of Intermediate convoy along with Ahmed Bhai. It was a very good drive to pink rock, with the right mix of skill, pace and adventure. There was no major hiccup and the convoy reached pink rock very quickly and at ease.

Myself and Satwinder at sweep had a task free drive 🙂 Oops…. may be not Satwinder because of his help to all other cars in desert…… 😉 Play drive at pink rock went wrong for Abdullah, resulting in popout and damaged tire. It gave us the chance to demonstrate – how quick can a tire be replaced in sands!!!
On the other hand, it seems Tushar had a tough challenge with the newbee convoy – not during the drive, but to begin the drive :-s The convoy faced few bizarre incidents of deflating to 0 PSI /:) empty fuel tank and 4×4 transmission issues.
Kudos to Tushar for managing to bring the convoy safely to pink rock, despite all these setbacks :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: Thanks to Saif for the great support at sweep and special appreciation to Gerry and Krishnan for sacrificing their drive and escorting a member safely back to tarmac :ymapplause:
All cars reached Tawi Nazwa before dark in 3 different convoys led by Ali, Tushar and Satwinder. Hope everybody enjoyed the drive and look forward to drive with you all again, very shortly :thanks: :drive: :drive: :drive:
