May 29, 2015 at 8:21 am #33165I’d really hoped to make this my first trip with the group but family commitments mean that I’ll wait for another day ๐
Superb drive yesterday. Particularly loved going over the top of the mountain! Only ruined slightly by some fool locking himself out of his car….. sorry about that #-o
But a big :thanks: to everyone that helped dismantle my Wrangler. Next weekend I may take up fishing. It seems I am quite good at that ๐

AnonymousJune 1, 2015 at 12:06 pm #33182A warm day with a HOT DRIVE :drive: lead by Duncan. :-ss
Everyone gathered at the meeting point and as normal were distributed according to the grades.
Started as 7 cars and ended as 9 cars in our convoy as Abdullah joined us during our drive accompanied by his friend…
We were already warned by Duncan… keep distance and lets have some fun. And that sentence in itself meant alot if you read between the lines.
The drive was a really nice paced roller coaster ride doing everything in it…. Cresting, side cresting, ridge riding, bowls… name it and its all covered in this drive.
We stopped after a while at the rock formations to catch our breath… and Faheem’s convoy also came to the same point for a break…. At this point Tatiana really had some relief. she had an over dose of adranaline for the day and decided to join Faheem’s convoy.
As she joined Faheem’s convoy… Faheem sent one more heavy duty to ours.. Yes it was an F-150 Raptor.
Wellll…. the drive had to move on…. the pace continued and this time with more speed and more twist and turns….
Going thru a bowl we faced our 1st pop out by Mustafa…. fixed quickly and off we went on with the drive…. As the drive continued, we had our second pop by Abdullah… fixed in less than 5 mins…. and 100-200 metres away was our final pop out… The Raptor…. this one took a while to fix due to the position the car was in…. took us approx 20-230 mins to get it fixed… by then the sun was waving us good bye and we had to leave as well… ๐ wish the sun could have delayed its departure and let us have more fun….
Thank you Duncan for the heart pumping drive… Looking forward to the next one…. :drive: :ymhug: :ymhug:
